Good game...

Lacking a little bit on the side of graphics but the idea is still there.

Also I have a way to fix your point accumulation problem. On the person, make a new BLANK keyframe, then make you AS make it go to that blank keyframe when it's been hit. That should stop it, that is if your person is a movie clip.

ZiggyZack99 responds:

well DUH it's a movieclip! thanks!

Great

Excellent remake of an excellent game. Why did you think we'd be harsh, theis game is truly amazing for an 11year old.

There is just the one thing I don't like though...Be a little more imaginative with your levels. There just a little bit boring.

AsianSpark responds:

Someone is harsh, just scroll down and see what Michaelas10 said.
And yes, i know some levels are BORING.

Wow....Me likee

Great game, hard because you can't out run the skeletons...And they seem to be able to see through the walls, but otherwise, well done.

bsilby responds:

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the enemies do see thru the walls. The game was designed as a tribute to "Gauntlet" from 1986, and in that game they also could see through walls. Its kinda quirky, really.

pretty well thought out

Pretty good game. I guess you like sim type games eh?

Now it could use with a little extra. It deffinetly lacked in graphical quality. The fact that everything was built and you could see what was going to be built wasn't too good. For the houses put some fences around them. The swimming pool could have belonged to either of the three houses surrounding it. Also if you do add fences put no back yard for $500 ones, the tree for the $800 one and around the swimming pool for the $1000 one. The school, hospital, hotel, gas station and theater lacked in every aspect of graphics, although the flashing lights on the theater do make it look a little better.

How about adding some more buildings in and being able to upgrade them like a $500 house to an $800 house then to a $1000 house then possibly one going into a mansion?
Hotel: could be upgraded from a 1 star all the way to a 5 star hotel...with valet parking?
Fire station: 1 truck->2 trucks->4 trucks. Fire Hydrants would make a good touch
Hospital: Why are there no ambulances? You expect someone who has 2nd degree burns to walk to hospital?
Wal-Mart:Could be a little convenience store and then get bigger then grows to a wal-mart

Adding a church would be nice as you could show "weddings" and also a graveyard.
You could also add:
A car lot
A theme park
A pier if it's on the coast
Offices
A library
A college
A university
A bar?
Hurricanes, Tornadoes Earthquakes and floods
Being able to fix buildings is a good idea

You have a police station yet nothing happens to it...Maybe crime and burglary? Also try adjusting the amount you pay to fit the size of the town. Like $50 for a house then $100 for bigger buildings like the fire and police station. Then $250 for something the size of the school or hotel.

Like I said good game, keep it up and try improve your graphics OR partner up with someone who's better at it.

PS. A new idea for you to try out...Sim school

Girdf responds:

thanks

i've been making a super city 2

it has pretty much 80% of the things you said

Could do with improvement

Now don't take this the wrong way. This is a great game and could be greater than roller coaster tycoon if you expand the range and improve the graphics. Introduce new things that RCT hasn't thought of, new rides. Things like that. Also setting an entrance price and prices for each ride would be good, more cars on the roller coaster possibly even a loop-de-loop? You might even be able to fit a camera on so you can experience the roller coaster first hand?

The puke was ok but hard to click on. How about making the hit area bigger for it or even being able to hire a cleaner to sweep it up. More shops would be cool. An arcade, whack a frog, ice-cream are a few suggestions. It would also be nice that when you go over a building you haven't bought that you could see how much it costs. I lost several times because I lost all my money buying the swing.

Well you have got my 4/5. Well done!

Girdf responds:

thanks i have already started on a second roller coaster game

this one looks better

has rides and shops from the first one but new rides this time

i'll add a few of the ideas you had some i dont know if i can do

but the part that you can see the price i added

when i made the 1st game i made the little signs next to the shops and rides

but when i put it on newgrounds i noticed the signs were tiny haha

but i was too lazy to fix them

roller coaster 2 should be a lot better than this one

thanks

sorry...

sorry to be the one to tell you but... IT DOESN'T WORK!

I got hundreds right and my score stayed at 0!

Xx-Assassin-xX responds:

WTF... READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

BTW, If I lose I have someone to blame now!

Pretty well thought out...

A few problems for me...Although it was well thought out pixels hurt eyes if they're too big shrink everything down a little.

There was no sync here...I didn't like that. The timing between each balls dropping wasn't too good. WAY TOO FAST. Also you couldn't see where the next ball was dropping from so most of the time you end up hitting the spikes. Improve these things and I think you have a winner.

Psycosis91 responds:

Well it was synced, mabye it's just your computer but it syncs fine for me. Each ball drops at the top left and top right alternatively, and the balls switch in and out every 4 bounces (4 bars of music). After 4 bounces you control the other ball. so if you hold right after one ball bounces for the 4th time, the other ball will instantly go right. It's pretty complicated but after a while you don't think about it.

This is garanted to nock ur sox off

Bill231 responds:
